This not-so-exotic place in Otoe NE is one of my favorite. My daughter lives on this lake on 30 acres of prairie and I am blessed that during a pandemic, I've been able to retreat there several times this past year. Enjoying time with my kids and grandkids has been my most treasured way to spend time away this year. This scene looks serene, but at the time I set up here, there were three rambunctious and noisy grandboys ages 13-2 doing their best to catch tadpoles from the bank near the dock. I call this one "Froggin" and it makes me smile.
