This was painted on location just outside Garnavillo, Iowa on Highway 52 on a hot summer's day in 2020 with a storm coming in from the west. Each time I pass this barn, the shadows catch my eye and I had to work quickly before the clouds came in and blocked the sun, or before I got rained on! This piece includes a wood frame.
